Permanent Make-up treatment Useful tips for an optimal preparation

With these tips I would like to help you to prepare optimally for your permanent make-up appointment. So that an optimal result of your treatment can be achieved and your permanent make-up remains beautiful and FRESH for a long time :-)

- Clarify all your questions with the PMU stylist before the treatment appointment

- Find out about the pigment colors used in terms of skin compatibility and whether they comply with the latest regulations

- Come to the treatment appointment relaxed and well rested

- Refrain from using creams and oils on the area to be pigmented

- Allow enough time and do not schedule important appointments for after treatment.

- Do not drink alcohol 24 hours before treatment

- Do not take blood thinning medications, such as Aspirin, 24 hours prior to treatment

- Refrain from intensive peels or facials, such as microneedling, Botox, hydrafacial, or fruit acid peels, for 6-8 weeks before treatment and after treatment

- Avoids strong sun exposure - severe redness or sunburn on the face.

- Note: Permanent make-up treatment is not possible during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

In case of illness/allergies, please note the following:

o If you have to take blood-thinning medication regularly due to a medical condition, please ask your doctor if you can temporarily stop the medication and if permanent make-up treatment is possible.

o Pigmentation is not possible during chemotherapy. After consultation with your doctor however, it could be possible before or after chemotherapy.

o If you are prone to herpes, please consult with your doctor to see if prophylaxis would be appropriate at least 5 days prior to treatment.

o If you are prone to allergies, discuss with your doctor and PMU stylist whether permanent makeup with the pigments used is possible.

For lip permanent make-up, the following should be considered:

o Do not make any dental appointments 2 days before and 10 days after the treatment.

o The following applies to lip injections: An injection should only be made after the complete healing of the entire pigmentation including all after-treatments. For existing injections, there should be at least 8-10 weeks between the lip PMU and the last injection. Depending on the injections, pigmentation is not possible.

For eyeliner permanent makeup, the following should be considered:

o Please do not use eyelash serum / growth serum for 6-8 weeks before the treatment

o Existing lash extensions should be removed at least 3 days before the treatment. If this is not possible, plan to renew your lash extensions only 10 days after the eyeliner pigmentation.
